The City of Carlsbad offers one of the largest softball programs in San Diego County. With more than 11 fields including Calavera Community Park, Stagecoach Community Park, Aviara, Poinsettia and the new Alga Norte Park location. Whether you have a men's, women's, or a coed team there are a variety of leagues that will suite your level of play from, recreational, intermediate to competitive, the city has what you are looking for.
Registration process protocol is Priority Registration for teams that participated in the last season hosted. Those teams have priority to register their team first. If any spots remain then registration will open to the public. You will need to contact our office for this information. Usually for the Fall season Priority registration begins June 1 and for the Spring Season Priority registration will open January 3. If any spots remain registration will open to the public. Priority registration is for three days.

The games run Wednesday, or Thursday nights from 6 - 10 p.m. The city accepts rosters for complete teams only. Individual sign-ups are not accepted.
Registration closes when leagues are full, or when staff decides to close to start working on the leagues.. So register early. We do not hold spots.
Teams may be moved up or down a division based on previous records and stats.
*We do not take field/location request. However we do take the night of choice that your team can play on.
*Game times are usually: 6:15pm, 7:30pm, or 8:45pm. Teams will play on one of these game times each week.
*Teams play one night a week and can select a night to play on. Either on Wednesday, or Thursday Night.
*Teams play 8-10 league games and top four teams advance to the post-season.
*League Team Fee is: $510 Fall & Spring
*Score Keeper and Umpire Fee: $25 umpire, payable each week on site (cash) per team, per game. You give to the umpire before the start of your game.
*All Men's League is Limited pitch 6ft-12ft. Coed is limited female 6ft-12ft and unlimited for male batters.
*Players play at their own risk. No insurance is provided or covered by the city.
